Description:

QUALIFICATIONS REQUISES :

  • Diplôme d’étude collégiale en secrétariat juridique (un atout)
  • Minimum de 3 à 5 ans d’expérience dans le domaine, à occuper des fonctions similaires
  • Connaissance des documents et procédures
  • Maîtrise de Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
  • Bilinguisme, en français et en anglais, tant à l’oral qu’à l’écrit

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Diploma in legal secretarial studies (an asset)
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years experience in the legal field, in a similar position
  • Knowledge in drafting documents and procedures
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
  • Perfectly bilingual (French and English)

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure diary entry and file maintenance, including management of deadlines
  • Carry out meticulous management and follow-up of client files, while preserving their confidentiality
  • Prepare, review, and format legal documents, including procedures, exhibits, books of authorities, letters, and other correspondence
  • Follow procedures with different courts and other authorities
  • Communication with various parties (clients, bailiffs, stenographers, opposing lawyers, etc.)
  • Perform tasks of an administrative nature such as opening and closing files, conflict searches, time entry, billing, credit notes, expense reports, filing, etc.
  • Perform other related duties
