The Heller College of Business (HCB) at Roosevelt University (Chicago, Illinois) seeks applications for adjunct instructors in Information Systems/Business Analytics to start in Fall 2024. We are interested in adding depth to the Decision Sciences area, which offers coursework at both the undergraduate and graduate levels at our downtown Chicago, suburban Schaumburg, and online campuses. The successful candidate will be able to teach a variety of courses in business analytics/information systems.

Specific course needs include:

• Database Systems
• Statistical Modeling for Business Analytics
• Predictive Business Analytics
• Data Preparation & Cleaning
• Data Visualization & Business Communication

Applications will be reviewed with an expected start date for the Fall semester starting August 28, 2023, and ending December 16, 2023.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED

• Master’s degree in information systems, business analytics or related field
• Experience teaching at the college level.
• At least one year teaching at the university level.
• Proficient with the following programs: R, Excel, and Tableau

Masters Degree

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Expertise in teaching one or more of the following areas:

• Business Analytics
• Decision Sciences
• Information Systems
• Project Management
