Carlow University invites qualified applicants to apply for part-time adjunct instructor position in the Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies (PA) Program. Positions are immediately available and may be ongoing in future semesters as needed.

JOB SUMMARY

Adjunct faculty members will be responsible for teaching clinical skills and classroom education, including procedural skills. Hours and schedules vary by position, appointment, and availability. Adjunct faculty members will be responsible for planning lecture content, grading laboratory skills and exams, setting up labs, and cleaning up after. In addition, the PA department has remote opportunities for clinical instructors to support students and their preceptors in a hospital or clinic-based settings, review case studies, and support capstone experiences.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• A minimum of a master’s degree in physician assistant studies (MPAS) and valid Pennsylvania Physician Assistant License and current NCCPA certification. At least two years experience as a Physician Assistant provider.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Teaching experience in a PA program and five years or more clinical experience as a Physician Assistant.
