Are you a looking for a new challenge? Do you have strong programme management skills to set up a new service?
The Changing Futures Programme will bring together a multi-disciplinary team into a new trauma informed service, yet to be established, which will provide intensive support to vulnerable people with complex needs across Leicester City.
Join us as an Admin & Programme Support Officer, and you’ll be working with a team of professionals across a range of multi-disciplinaries to help improve the quality of life of adults with multiple-complex needs and disadvantage as well as successfully contributing to delivery of projects and activities within the Changing Futures Programme.
This is a full-time fixed term position working 37 hours per week from Monday to Friday (until 31st March 2025). There may be occasions where you’ll be required to work outside of normal office hours. Working arrangements will be flexible comprising of both office and remote working.

Responsibilities:

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

As an Administration and Programme Support Officer, you’ll provide effective and efficient administrative, project and programme support (including financial monitoring) to the Changing Futures programme and team. You will be working closely with the Changing Futures team and management, as well as the broader Community Safety department.
As a member of the Changing Futures team, you will be providing daily administrative support for a busy team of six intensive support workers. As an excellent minute taker, you will be responsible for managing, coordinating, and recording a range of meetings (from internal team sessions to strategic forums with partner agencies and LCC divisional leads). You will monitor and review incoming emails and referrals, ensuring that all points of administrative escalation are undertaken as required and followed up where needed. You will also be responsible for team invoicing and financial administration within the project.

Furthermore, you’ll be confident in your abilities to creatively design and build documents, systems, and processes to support the work of the team. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to:

  • Communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, with people at all levels, professionally representing the service through interactions.
  • Deal with queries and requests and provide clear information/guidance.
  • Well organised, self-motivated, and able to work under pressure in a busy and demanding environment and meet tight deadlines
