Responsibilities:
ROLE SUMMARY:
As an administrator of enterprise data security, you will play a critical role in ensuring the availability and performance of our network and systems across all locations. You’ll be instrumental in formulating and executing policies and procedures to maintain security standards aligned with our company goals, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure compliance with established security policies across servers, networks, and endpoints.
- Respond promptly to security alerts, assessing and remediating security incidents.
- Stay abreast of current and emerging security threats, developing and implementing mitigation strategies.
- Manage risky user behavior through proactive monitoring and education.
DETAILED DUTIES:
- Ensure compliance with security policies:
- Install scheduled system and network security patches.
- Maintain up-to-date and active endpoint protection.
- Conduct audits to prevent unauthorized software installations and ensure proper usage compliance.
- Respond to security alerts:
- Investigate incident alerts, determining the best remediation actions.
- Perform remediation activities to neutralize threats and compromises.
- Escalate high-risk incidents to IT Management and SOC for further support.
- Research security threats:
- Stay informed about emerging threats through reputable sources.
- Assess the risk of emerging threats and develop mitigation strategies.
- Conduct vulnerability scans and proactively remediate vulnerabilities.
- Manage risky user behavior:
- Monitor security logs to identify risky behavior.
- Educate users on security best practices.
- Report security violations to IT Management.
