Essential qualifications and experience:

To meet the requirements of the role you will:

  • Experience with rostering staff in shift based work
  • Experience using rostering systems and software
  • Be an excellent communicator
  • Demonstrate ability to meet deadlines, ability to thrive under pressure and adapt quickly
  • Work with minimal supervision and as part of a team
  • Be competent with computer skills in MS Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Have excellent numeracy skills

Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE

You’ll be part of a team, empowering and supporting one another to make a meaningful difference in the lives of the people we serve. As Roster Clerk you are responsible for delivery of rostering and administrative functions for aged care services.
This position is Permanent Full time.
Core duties include:
Manage the development and publishing of the fortnightly rosters.
Timely submission of pay period to payroll.

Assist with maintaining a master roster within budget, including consideration of occupancy and care minutes.

  • Coordinate staff replacement and management of unplanned leave.
  • Participate & support the recruitment process within the home.
  • Distribute the fortnightly roster in required timeframes and develop staff daily run sheets.
  • Coordinate staff replacement and enter leave.

  • General administrative duties as requested.
  • Responsible for all aspects of the roster and the facility payroll systems within the home, supported by head office services.
