About the Role
- Provide on-the-job training to staff, and/or identify training/professional development opportunities, in collaboration with individual employees, to help them meet the expectations of their role.
- Encourage professionalism in staff by leading by example and mentoring staff, communicating workplace expectations and behaviours, and by maintaining consistent standards, practices, processes and procedures.
- Foster teamwork and individual accountability by leading the team through changes to the way work is performed by the team and providing feedback to staff about their performance.
- Be responsive to staff’s needs during periods of high volume and/or challenging situations, including acting as a point of guidance, intervention or escalation.
- Respond to the MSH@Home and Aged Care Services Managers feedback about service provision and/or identify and progress improvements in administrative systems, processes and procedures and/or identify improvements in staff performance to enhance efficiencies and effectiveness in service provision, balancing administrative compliance with service expectations.
- Conduct quality audits of work undertaken by the team to ensure data integrity and tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
