Description:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an organised and motivated individual to join our Community Administration Team providing clerical support to the Stroke Pathway Assessment & Rehabilitation Centre, Community Stroke Service and Intermediate Care Beds.
The suitable candidate will have a professional approach to dealing with enquiries from and working closely with a multidisciplinary team, ensure attention to detail and maintain confidentiality at all times.
The role will include the administration of the inpatient unit as well as processing and dealing with tasks in both Community Stroke Service and Intermediate Care Beds which is based at Lightwood House.
We are looking for a candidate who will consistently deliver a patient focused service, providing excellent customer service and build effective relationships along the Stroke Pathway.
To provide a strictly confidential administrative service to the Stroke Pathway Assessment and Rehabilitation Centre (SPARC), Community Stroke Service (CSS) and Intermediate Care Beds (ICB).
To be competent in the use of Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel and PowerPoint as well as Trust systems including SystmOne and Lorenzo.
To be responsible for ordering supplies using the in-house ordering system (Integra/Web Basket).
To provide administrative support to the Interface office as part of the SPARC/ICB service as required, accurately inputting data into Excel spreadsheets and SystmOne.
To maintain spreadsheets and databases as appropriate and present accurate information about the services.
To cover main reception at SPARC as required – meeting and greeting patients and visitors to SPARC in a friendly and courteous manner and direct all visitors as appropriate.
To provide an efficient telephone answering service in a professional and helpful manner.
To ensure correspondence, both paper and electronic, is handled and responded to in a timely and efficient manner.
To maintain both electronic and manual storage and retrieval of all correspondence and information files.
To undertake general administration tasks such as photocopying, laminating and printing.
