Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE

Join our team and play a pivotal role in delivering an excellent level of administrative support to our General Insurance Operations and Risk teams.
You’ll be involved in a range of tasks including evaluating, coordinating and monitoring correspondence to ensure this is dealt with efficiently, accurately and effectively. Distributing and storing various documents, reports and presentations whilst ensuring confidentiality.
You’ll take the lead in planning, organising and coordinating department meetings, events and travel arrangements as required. You’ll be responsible for creating presentations, packs, agendas, minutes and action logs to ensure the team are fully prepared. In this capacity, you will also monitor expenses and budgets, raise purchase orders, ensuring adherence with our policies and procedures.
The Health & Safety of our team is paramount, and you will oversee the health and safety practises within our business area, ensuring we comply with statutory and corporate standards, whilst promoting a safe working environment. In addition to this, you will be involved in facilitating the Information Security activities for the team, ensuring all necessary information is communicated and we adhere to GDPR and information security policies, conducting spot checks to ensure compliance.
To allow our Leadership team to focus on growing and protecting our business you will be involved in all areas of administration including recruitment, HR Administration, Learning & Development, diary management, minute taking, maintaining and updating the department SharePoint sites and much more.

You’re a strong and dynamic team player who always strives to achieve high level quality output. You’ll bring your previous experience working within a similar role and have a passion for delivering an excellent service to your colleagues. To apply for this role, you will also have/can:

  • Experience working in Administration (ideally within a similar environment)
  • Highly organised with a strong attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills that will allow you to build positive relationships with your colleagues and the wider business
  • Demonstrate initiative whilst being proactive within a workplace environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office applications (Teams, SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint, etc
