Harvey Norman Commercial Stapylton is a very successful division of a national company, involved in the supply of a large product range to the construction industry in Queensland, particularly to home builders and large-scale residential construction projects.
We’re currently seeking a motivated and enthusiastic person to join our fast-paced Residential Housing department. Based in our Stapylton Head Office, the successful candidate will work alongside our high performing sales team to coordinate a portfolio of projects, communicate timelines, and provide customer service support to our clients.
Surrounded by a strong and supportive team, the position offers a great opportunity to step into southeast Queensland’s growing building industry and be involved in a variety of projects, with future career advancement also a possibility for the right individual.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Previous experience in a similar capacity or strong Administration Customer service
  • CRM and POS experience desired but not essential
  • Intermediate computer skills
  • Ability to work unsupervised
  • Proactive team player
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • The ability to work well under pressure and prioritise tasks
  • Your own transport

Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to our Sales representatives with their day-to-day duties
  • Confirm orders with customers
  • Order stock from suppliers for customer orders
  • Liaise with customers and arrange delivery of goods
  • Keep track of all open orders by checking stock levels, delivery dates and payment
  • Actively maintain a strong product knowledge of goods being supplied
  • Maintain professional contact with internal and external stakeholders
  • Follow security procedures
