THE COMPANY
Located in Moorabbin, Our client’s are in the Electrical services industry and due to their great service delivery and reputation they are growing and a fabulous new role has evolved for a Administration assistant. They are always looking for better ways to do things, complete their work to an excellent level and care a lot about their customers!
This role would suit a candidate who has had loads of experience dealing with Trades.
It would also suit you if you are looking for a varied, autonomous role supporting the owner with the day-to-day administrative tasks of the business. His brief to us is that he is looking for a “gun” with a positive “can-do” attitude!
Critical to this role is that the applicant MUST come from the trade industry. They need to understand how trades work.
KEY SKILLS
- 3 - 5 years experience in a similar role
- Excellent attention to detail
- Excellent with technology but also old school values and outlook
- Familiar with trades, maybe used to run their own business
- Already worked in a small business and can work alone, someone I can throw in the deep end, problem solve
- Familiar with marketing, SEO, ad words, website is not essential but would be advantageous.
- Proficiency in Xero is, Servicem8, Jotform, Burdi, Asana, Outlook, Lucid Charts, proficient in Mac laptops, Canva
- On site or hybrid.
- Motivated, bubbly, well spoken, energetic, honest, reliable, hard working, bit of banter is good, not too serious, thick skin, typical tradie type person.
- Highly computer literate with Intermediate Excel skills
- Problem solver
- Help grow the business on the Admin side
- Exposure to Service Mate, Deputy and/or Electrical or trade industry would be advantageous
You should also be able to work and enjoy being on your own!
Salary will be commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities:

Daily tasks will include:
- Email management
- Triage enquiries, follow up and quotes
- Managing job progress and follow up
- General Admin duties
- Data Entry into CRM
- Keeping stock levels up to date
- Managing workers time sheets
- Inbound sales
- Customer service on the phone
- Knowledge of socials and basic marketing
