Description:

ADMINISTRATION ASSISTANT X 8

On behalf of a Federal Government Department, we are looking for 8 x Administration Assistants to provide administrative support to required divisions.
This role is a 3-6 month assignment based in the Sydney CBD paying $35 - $42 per hour + super (depending on experience).

Responsibilities:

DUTIES WILL INCLUDE:

  • Co-ordinating division-wide input into regular reporting
  • Supporting divisional staff with recruitment activities including lodging recruitment documentation, booking scribes and booking interviews
  • Provide support for meetings including managing invitations and responses, arranging meeting rooms, video conference bookings
  • Supporting divisional staff in preparing procurement documentation and liaising with procurement officers
  • Assist in the management of documents utilising and adhering to the records management system.
  • Booking and managing travel arrangements for divisional staff
  • Providing ad-hoc administrative support as required.

TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS ROLE YOU WILL DEMONSTRATE;

  • Strong recent and relevant administrative skills providing diverse support within an office environment, ideally within a state or federal government department
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide information to and assist a range of stakeholders
  • Competency with IT systems, the Microsoft Office Suite and Records Management systems
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Experience working in a Government setting would be advantageous
