Description:
Apprenticeship Careers Australia (ACA) are currently seeking applicants that have previous customer service experience, who are dependable, reliable, with a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn, to commence a Business Administration Traineeship based in Parkside in the Health and Care sector. This will set you up for a rewarding career and provide you with the opportunity to obtain your Certificate III in Business (Customer Engagement) (BSB30120) .
Role Overview: As part of scheduling team at ECH you will play an important role in ensuring the smooth and efficient scheduling of support staff to meet the needs of ECH Clients. You will be trained and supported throughout your traineeship in this role, assisting with the coordination of staff schedules and optimising resource allocation to ensure the delivery of exceptional care and support services.
The successful candidate will be employed by Apprenticeship Careers Australia (ACA) and hosted to work in a 18-month full-time traineeship.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:
- Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
- Willing to commit to completing a Certificate III in Business (Customer Engagement) (BSB30120).
- National Police Clearance or be prepared to obtain one
- Demonstrate cooperation, respect, consideration, and tact in dealing with others
- Aptitude for working and communicating effectively with people of all backgrounds
- Ability to prioritise requirements
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development and maintenance of rosters for support staff, ensuring adequate coverage to meet participant needs.
- Communicate with support staff to confirm shifts, manage availability, and handle any roster changes or adjustments.
- Liaise with clients and their families to gather scheduling preferences and ensure their needs are met effectively.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to rostering activities.
- Ensure calls are answered promptly & politely and all messages are delivered promptly & accurately
- Data entry/using spreadsheets
- Other administrative tasks as directed
