THE COMPANY

Our client is a mid-size accounting firm based in the northern suburbs. They specialise in business services, self-managed super funds and tax accounting and have a wide variety of different clients they deal with. They are in an exciting phase of growth and as such are now looking for somebody to join their administration team!

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Experience within an accounting firm working in a similar role
  • Knowledge of the ATO Portal and ASIC Portal
  • Interested in furthering your administrative career
  • Experience using MYOB AE would be highly regarded
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Strong time management skills
  • High attention to detail

Responsibilities:

THE ROLE

Due to continued growth they are now looking for an Administration Manager to join their team. You would be responsible for managing the administration team as well as assisting with the administration duties as required.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responding to emails
  • Invoicing
  • Managing job flow
  • Liaise with clients over the phone and via email
  • Management of 5 staff
  • Recruitment and performance management discussions
  • Implementations of processes and procedures
  • Maintaining client database and updating when relevant
  • Strong client / customer focus & ability to build strong relationships
  • Processing daily clients correspondence
  • ATO follow ups with assessment notices
  • Compiling tax information
  • Assisting Accountants with ad hoc tasks as required
  • ASIC lodgements, company registrations, title searches
  • Scheduling appointments
