Greater Shepparton City Council, situated in the heart of the Goulburn Valley, is the fourth largest provincial centre in Victoria and has a well-developed economy due to its strong agricultural and irrigation base, with major industries related to food processing, manufacturing and transport. The Goulburn Valley is often referred to as ‘The Food Bowl of Australia’ as around 25% of the total value of Victoria’s agricultural production is generated in this area.
Greater Shepparton has a population of approximately 65,000, and an expenditure budget in excess of $118 million. The population is culturally diverse with 9.9% of residents being born overseas. The area has excellent education, recreation, cultural, social and health facilities and tourism is a developing focus for the region.

ADMINISTRATION OFFICER - EARLY YEARS

Salary: $68,560.96 per annum pro-rata

Part time - Temporary (To January 2025)
Do you have a passion for supporting children and families through your great administration skills?
We are looking for an individual or individuals to work two, three or five days per week 8:15 to 5:00pm.
Do you have very high-level computer skills with the Microsoft suite and the capacity to learn new programs quickly? Then this could be for you.
This role offers a wide variety of tasks within a supportive department, and requires the ability to be flexible and adaptive to variable time frames and responsibilities that supports educators and nurses in services for children before school entry.
Excellent communication skills; verbal and written, as well as an inclusive response to our diverse community are highly valued in this team.
