Responsibilities:
YOUR NEW ROLE
As Administration Officer, your responsibilities and duties may include:
- Provide timely and accurate data entry of accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Assisting with the set-up and maintenance of human resources and personnel electronic files and databases.
- Assist Manager with recruitment, including posting and monitoring job vacancies, collating job applications, and arranging interviews.
- Backup reception, providing excellence in customer service as the first point of contact for all queries to the organisation, either in person, by email, social media or by phone.
- Assisting with a range of administration duties including photocopying, scanning, ordering office supplies, filing, creation of documents, database entries, record keeping and archiving in accordance with established procedures.
- Assisting with the onboarding process, ensuring all onboarding documents are issued and received, and saved into the system.
- Assisting with preparing, issuing, and receiving employment contracts, variations to contracts and associated HR correspondence,
What you’ll need to succeed
To be successful in the role, you will ideally possess the following skills and attributes:
- Certificate III in Business Administration or similar, with a significant amount of administrative and office experience;
- Queensland Working with Children Checks “Blue Card”
- Current C Class QLD Driver’s Licence
- Organisational skills, ability to prioritise tasks and manage competing demands to meet deadlines, excellent attention to detail with the ability to ensure compliance.
- Experience in the processing of accounts payable and receivable.
