Greater Shepparton City Council, situated in the heart of the Goulburn Valley, is the fourth largest provincial centre in Victoria and has a well-developed economy due to its strong agricultural and irrigation base, with major industries related to food processing, manufacturing and transport. The Goulburn Valley is often referred to as ‘The Food Bowl of Australia’ as around 25% of the total value of Victoria’s agricultural production is generated in this area.
Greater Shepparton has a population of approximately 65,000, and an expenditure budget in excess of $118 million. The population is culturally diverse with 9.9% of residents being born overseas. The area has excellent education, recreation, cultural, social and health facilities and tourism is a developing focus for the region.

ADMINISTRATION OFFICER - HR SYSTEMS

Salary: $68,560.96 per annum pro rata
Closing: Friday 29 March 2024
Part Time (19hrs p/w) - Temporary (To 18 February 2025)
We are currently seeking applications from pro-active, organised and customer focused individuals for the temporary position of Administration Officer - HR Systems.
Working as part of the People and Development team and reporting directly to the Team Leader – HR Systems this role will provide a variety of HR Systems administration support functions.

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Experience or an interest in system administration of a HR/Payroll system
  • An understanding of HR and/or Payroll practices and procedures
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, in particular Microsoft Excel
  • Strong problem solving and customer service skills
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks

Note: This position is subject to a 6 month qualifying period in accordance with the Fair Work Australia minimum employment period.
