Description:

  • Rockhampton location
  • Monday to Friday 8.00am-4.30pm
  • $60,000-$65,000 salary plus super
  • Temp to perm after 3 month
  • previous experience in spare parts industry (machinery/vehicle) preferred but no essential
  • Easy access and on site parking available
    We are currently seeking an experienced Administrative assistant to support the daily operational needs of a large manufacturing and distribution business specialising in spare parts.
    The successful candidate must have prior experience in a similar fast paced environment and a working knowledge of administrative practices. You will need to effectively apply these skills and demonstrate a firm understanding of customer service practices and general clerical support duties.

Primary Roles and Responsibility

  • Provide a superior customer service experience with a positive attitude
  • High level administrative skills
  • Respond to customer enquiries and action accordingly
  • Ensure that requests for assistance are directed to the appropriate staff member in a timely manner
  • Perform general typing and administrative assignments including scanning filling, and data entry as and when required
  • Maintain a good working relationship with the management and staff
  • Handle initial customer inquiries and complaints before passing on further
  • Communicate effectively and courteously with all employees and external customers
  • Provide clerical support to accounts department and management
  • Assist with the ordering of stationery and office items as and when required
  • Any other duty as reasonably directed
