Description:
The role In this pivotal role, you will ensure adherence to service quality standards and safety protocols, guaranteeing the provision of high-quality, secure services and work environments. Your responsibilities include proficiently managing data within Surgery Connect Activity Navigator (SCAN), the unit’s patient management database, while staying updated on administrative procedures, systems, and policies. You will actively innovate administrative processes, challenge conventional practices, and implement business process improvements. Additionally, you will handle accounts preparation, interpret contractual terms, address complaints in line with policies, and provide flexible administrative support to align with the strategic goals of the Department of Health, fostering strong relationships with stakeholders.
Your role will involve planning, prioritizing, and effectively delivering administrative support to ensure the Surgery Connect program’s alignment within the strategic plan of the Department of Health, remaining flexible to adjust to changes and exceptions as they arise. Building relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, you will utilize strong communication skills to understand requirements and support the delivery of services that meet policy guidelines. You will also be responsive to other duties as required by the Manager or Director of Surgery Connect.
The successful personTo excel in this position, familiarity with medical terminology relevant to patient-focused tasks is advantageous. Likewise, proficiency in database usage and patient management systems is beneficial.
Moreover, expertise in departmental financial and administrative procedures, coupled with a record of accomplishment of engaging in business enhancement efforts to streamline workflows, is essential. Demonstrated capability in managing diverse tasks and projects, even amidst conflicting schedules, is also required.
