Description:
About the Role: As the Administration Officer, you will provide a high level of customer service demonstrating understanding, empathy and patience in a multidisciplinary setting. This position operates with a high degree of independence while maintaining open channels of communication between all staff within the department. Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting and directing visitors to the area as the primary contact on the ward.
- Responding to general reception enquiries on the Nursery by answering all incoming telephone calls and ensure accurate information of transcribing messages.
- Assist with admissions, discharges and transfers across campus and external facilities.
- Conduct patient interviews, verifying information and financial details for admissions and completion of Patient Election Forms.
About You: You will understand Metro South Health’s values and have:

- Well-developed negotiation, conflict resolution and relationship building skills
