Description:

Randstad is a preferred supplier for a number of Local Government councils and has a variety of temporary assignments available. These positions span various departments, including administration, customer service, planning, and community development. Positions range from all levels, catering to candidates with diverse skill sets and experience levels.
These opportunities are 3-6 month temporary positions within Local Government councils located throughout Western Australia. These positions have potential to be extended for the right candidate.
Full time availability is preferred, if you are looking for part time we would still like to hear from you.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Preparing, organising and storing information in paper and digital form
  • Dealing with queries on the phone and by email
  • Greeting visitors at reception
  • Managing diaries, scheduling meetings and booking rooms
  • Arranging travel and accommodation
  • Arranging post and deliveries
  • Taking minutes at meetings
  • Typing up letters and reports
  • Updating computer records using a database
  • Maintaining office systems
  • Liaising with suppliers and contractors
  • Liaising with staff in other departments, e.g. finance, HR

About you:

  • Be thorough and pay attention to detail
  • Able to work well with others
  • Able to work on your own
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Customer service skills
  • Able to use a computer and the main software packages competentlyPrevious Local or State Government experience is highly desirable
