The following are minimum mandatory requirements for the role:
- Demonstrated minimum 2 years experience in a similar role; and
- Demonstrated proficiency in using the full range of Microsoft Suite applications,
particularly Word and Excel; and

- Demonstrated familiarity with, or ability to quickly develop proficiency in, the use
of IT systems, by way of examples, Corporate Travel Management booking system,
legal matter management systems such as LEX, the SAP ESS System, the ARC
Records Management System and the Expense8 System.
The following are highly desirable:
- Experience working with numbers, such as reading financial information, preparing
budgets, reconciling expenditures.
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
- NDIS Commission employees are required to be Australian Citizens.
- Candidates employed by the NDIS Commission are required to undertake a Police
Records Check prior to commencement of employment. If the position involves
working with children and/or vulnerable people, the appropriate check for this will
also be required to be undertaken.
- Successful candidate(s) will be required to obtain and maintain at least a baseline
security clearance.
To be eligible to obtain a security clearance (Baseline, Negative Vet 1 or Negative Vet 2) the
successful candidate must be an Australian Citizen. Candidates must be able to establish their
background as checkable to be considered eligible for a security clearance. Any gaps or
periods of time spent overseas for 12 or more months (cumulative) that cannot be verified
by an Australian referee are typically deemed uncheckable, rendering the candidate ineligible
for a security clearance. Background history must cover 5/10 years (Baseline / Negative Vet 1
or Negative Vet 2) of employment, education, residential, criminal history and anything else
specified by the AGSVA. The successful candidate must be willing to disclose all relevant and
required information to fulfil this process.
Responsibilities:
KEY DUTIES
We are looking for an Administrative Support Officer to provide administrative support to the
the Legal Services and Internal Integrity Division. Duties include:
- Providing administrative support in a fast-paced environment to the staff of the
Legal Services and Internal Integrity Division. This includes but is not limited to:
o arranging travel and meetings;
o filing and searching documents in the LEX and ARC/TRIM systems;
o supporting and assisting with preparing paper work for procurement
activities of the Division,
o monitoring and reporting on Division budget;
o processing invoices received by the Division; and
o acquitting credit cards and travel through NDIS Commission IT systems.
- Assist with coordinating and organising legal and integrity training sessions;
- Preparing file-notes of meetings and follow up on actions thereafter;
- Building and maintaining productive working relationships with internal and external
stakeholders;
- Attending to a diverse range of adhoc duties as required to support the Legal Services
& Internal Integrity Division.
The Internal Integrity Unit is responsible for the following functions:
