Administration/Support

Responsibilities:

  • Creation and drafting of correspondence/reporting for various departments.
  • Tracking internal email inbox used by employees.
  • Reviewing reports; ensuring standards are met.
  • Report binding, emailing, or mailing of reports, create courier waybills.
  • New claim intake, either via phone, email or through front desk.
  • Entering claims into internal system.
  • Time entries into internal time tracking system
  • Deactivating files
  • Coordination of projects and meetings
  • Creation and updating of various spreadsheets.
  • Processing of invoices
  • Other duties, including Receptionist duties, as required.

Competencies Required to Succeed:

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to write detailed, comprehensive reports.
  • An analytical thinker with advanced problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to approach a problem from different perspectives and explore all angles, using an investigative mindset.
  • Comfortable with the use of a computer, standard programs, and use of online data resources, etc.
  • Must be discreet and comfortable handling sensitive information.
  • Extremely organized, concise, and strong attention to detail.
  • Must work well independently with minimal supervision.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Experience conducting surveillance for insurance claims and corporate investigations is an asset.
  • Post-secondary education or equivalent combination of post-secondary education and relevant experience.
  • Possession of a valid Investigator license an asset.
  • Minimum 2 - 3 years’ experience in an administrative support role required.
  • Previously demonstrated ability to execute high attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage changing priorities and proven organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated behaviors showing initiative and follow-up skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
  • Demonstrated professionalism and work ethic.
  • Proven ability to contribute to and work well within a team environment.
  • Experience with Word, Excel & Outlook skills are required.
  • All other computer applications – must have the aptitude and ability to learn as required.
