This is a pivotal role ensuring the smooth operation of the state-wide CFA Personal Protective Clothing (PPC) supply chain and State Logistics Centre.This position involves providing comprehensive support to both administrative and warehouse functions. Responsibilities include accurate data entry, receiving new stock and processing orders for Brigades/Districts. Additionally, you will be tasked with efficiently picking, packing, and dispatching orders, all while fulfilling general administrative and warehousing duties as assigned.Operating within a dynamic environment, this role blends office and warehouse tasks, requiring teamwork and occasional independent work to meet the demands of CFA programs, projects, and operational requirements.ABOUT YOUOur ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following.
  • General knowledge and experience in a warehouse environment.
  • Demonstrated organisational and time-management skills with the ability to work proactively, with minimal supervision and to work effectively as a member of a team.
  • Ability to undertake a broad range of administrative tasks (word processing, data entry, filing etc.).
  • Ability to prioritise multiple tasks whilst being attentive to meeting deadlines and customer service needs.
  • Good written communication and interpersonal skills coupled with an ability to build and maintain working relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Good computer literacy skills including MS Office and database management (SAP or equivalent), with a sound understanding of inventory management systems.
  • Forklift license (Mandatory).
