Description:
JOB DESCRIPTION
Our client, which provides broadcasting and communication services, is currently looking for an Administrative and Accounting Officer. The primary responsibility is to manage general affairs and other ad-hoc duties for the Singapore branch office (such as business contracts, insurance, and office equipment orders).
You will be reporting to the Japanese Managing Director.
【 What you will be doing 】
- Payment, cash management, and deposit tasks for the Singapore office.
- Annual reporting, tax declaration work, and liaising with external organizations such as Accounting Firm
- Support for Japanese expats in the Singapore branch (liaison with authorities for visa acquisition, passport renewals, selection and renewal of company housing, etc.)
- Billing tasks including issuing invoices for each customer
- Handling expense claims for travel, business trips, transport expenses, etc.
- Reservations for air tickets, hotels, dining venues, and limousine bookings for business trips
- Liaising with our head office’s HR, accounting, and general affairs departments
- Supporting the opening of new offices in the near future.
REQUIREMENT
【 What they are looking for 】
(Must)
- At least 5 years of experience in Administration/Secretary
- Work experience in a Japanese firm
- Proficiency in the Japanese language in speaking, writing and listening (At least above JLPT N2) will be essential to liaise with Japan HQ.
- Fluent in speaking English to communicate with an external organization.
- Willing to work for the long term
(Preferable)
- It would be advantageous to be able to join immediately.
- Working experience with Japanese expatriates will be advantageous.
Experience in ordering and payment tasks, such as issuance of invoices will be preferable.
