Description:

Administrative Assistant 2 for the College of Pharmacy provides administrative support to the College of Pharmacy divisional graduate programs and recruitment, as well as administrative support to the division administrative associates. This position coordinates with college divisions graduate programs on maintaining graduate student records , scheduling and attending meetings, coordinating all aspects of yearly graduate student recruitment and visitation weekend at the division level, and; utilizes OSU Workday system to make purchases and coordinate travel for faculty, staff, students and guests; assists course instructors with division seminars including, creating itineraries and managing travel arrangements for visitors to the university; creates and posts seminar announcements for division events; assists with special projects for the college as needed; schedules rooms for faculty, staff and students; assists faculty with post-doctoral job advertisements; advises faculty, staff, students, and guests on university and college policies and procedures; organizes and schedules meetings, conferences and special projects; provides backup support to college administrative support staff as needed; maintains area office and shipping supplies; works productively as a team member; performs related and/or additional job duties as assigned by direct supervisor.
Required Qualifications: High school diploma or GED, certification or vocational training; 1 year of relevant administrative experience is required.
Desired Qualifications: Associate or Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent education and experience. 2-4 years of relevant experience; Proven experience with MS Office Suite & previous experience using Workday.
The pay range for this job profile is $37,795 - $49,690. The offer for this position will fall within this range based on internal equity, unit’s available budget, and the candidate’s qualifications. This position is paid hourly.
