Description:
Sturgeon Public School Division is currently recruiting a Full-Time Permanent Administrative Assistant 3 for a work assignment at Oak Hill School.
Located in Bon Accord, students from grades 4-9 are placed at Oak Hill Ranch by Alberta Child and Family Services. In cooperation with the Ranch, Sturgeon Public Schools, and Alberta Education, the school’s primary objective is to provide a quality education program according to the emotional, social, and academic needs of each student. Staff at Oak Hill School are highly skilled and fully committed to providing students with many opportunities to thrive and find success.
FTE: 1.0 FTE; Full-Time Permanent; working 7.0 hrs/day
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
Post-Secondary Diploma in Business or Office Administration. Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Google Suite, Website Management, Power School and PASI Systems is desirable. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a professional demeanor, exceptional communication skills (verbal & written) and be energetic and enthusiastic. NVCI and First Aid certification is an asset. A combination of education and experience may be considered.
Hourly Rate: $19.79 - $24.54 per hour, as per the CUPE Collective Agreement.

Responsibilities:
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Under the direction of the principal, the primary focus of this position is to provide office support and to perform specialized clerical functions in finance and/or program support.
DUTIES:
Liase with Central Office, Alberta Learning and other public organizations
Maintain and administer student data systems
Coordinate and maintain staff absentee and substitute teacher records
Provide clerical/program/administrative support to school administrators
Provide reception services and relief as required
Other duties appropriate to the classification as assigned by the principal
