This position is responsible for administrative support, customer service, data entry and record keeping and will require the ideal candidate to have excellent attention to detail, strong computer and analytical skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in an Administrative Assistant role.
  • Diploma/Certificate in Business Administration would be an asset.
  • Proficient in MS Office (intermediate Word and Excel).
  • Superior time management and organizational skills, with an ability to prioritize and work under pressure.
  • Strong client relations and teamwork skills.
  • Excellent command of the English language both verbal and written.
  • Positive and professional demeanor.
  • Reliable, punctual and demonstrates initiative.
  • Self-starter who is a highly motivated team player.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the team with a variety of administrative and customer service tasks.
  • Edits and formats documents to ensure layout and graphical presentation meet the company’s standards; prepares reports and presentations as needed, attending to the details of all forms of communication, both internal and external.
  • High volume of data entry.
  • Coordinate delivery and freight of customer orders
  • Work within timelines and ensure procedures are followed and deadlines are met.
  • Identify opportunities to improve the effectiveness of administrative systems and processes.
  • Other general office tasks as required (eg: ordering office supplies, filing, photocopying, etc.).
