JOB QUALIFICATIONS

The Administrative Assistant shall have a minimum of an Associate’s degree in business or related field. Other appropriate related combinations of education and experience may substitute. Must also be proficient in MS Office.

Responsibilities:

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS, DUTIES, AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Serve as welcoming presence in the reception area.
  • Answer phones and direct calls to appropriate staff members.
  • Manage incoming faxes
  • Sort and distribute incoming mail
  • Prepare postage for outgoing mail
  • Log incoming checks
  • Review weekly outgoing checks and electric transfers to staff and vendors
  • Create thank you letters for donations
  • Manage the conference room calendar, training schedules and set up rooms accordingly
  • Coordinate and distribute monthly on-call schedule
  • Register staff for required training sessions
  • Perform other duties as assigned
