Description:

A Hull Electrical, a well established Leicester based business, are looking for an Administrative Assistant to join their small and friendly team. If you have good IT and communication skills and are a quick learner with a positive attitude, we’d love to have you on board.
This is a great opportunity for someone looking for a varied role to progress their career in office administration working in a fast paced and interesting company.

Day to day duties will include the below:

  • Dealing with incoming calls and emails
  • Booking in jobs and compiling day sheets
  • Making up job packs with the correct documents
  • Setting up and maintaining job files on our systems
  • Updating and maintaining spreadsheets
  • Drafting and sending letters
  • Scanning in certificates and other key documents
  • General office duties as required

Required skills and attributes

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proactive and motivated individual, with the ability to prioritise duties and work to deadlines
  • Good understanding of IT including, Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • At least 1 years experience in office administration

Salary will be up to £11.50 per hour dependant on experience and will be subject to regular review. We are looking for someone to work full time, 37.5 hours a week, 8.30am - 4.30pm. This is a permanent position and benefits from up to 28 days annual leave (including bank holidays), and paid leave while the business is closed over the festive period - who doesn’t like a nice long Christmas break!
