Description:
Position Details: Full-Time, Permanent
Salary Range: Salary range at $44,500-$55,500, based on a 35-hour work week. The starting salary for this position will be commensurate with individual education and experience as it relates to the position.
Location: Edmonton, AB

REQUIREMENTS
- Three years of directly related experience and a certificate/diploma in office administration, business administration or related field; a relevant combination of education and experience may also be considered.
- Excellent internal/external customer service with strong oral and written communication skills.
- Strong administration skills along with demonstrated experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable and journal preparation.
- Proficient in Office 365 applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams.
- Detail-oriented, organized and able to prioritize workload.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and adaptable to change.
Responsibilities:
The Administrative Assistant will perform a full range of administrative and financial duties that will support the Alberta Conservation Team, including but not limited to:
- supporting financial analysis and expenditure monitoring
- supporting month-end, quarter-end and year-end activities
- assisting with project invoicing
- providing leadership and guidance to staff related to timesheets, procurement and system navigation
- monitoring for compliance with company policies such as contracts and expenditures
- processing accounts payable and journal entries.
