Job Description

As a valuable member of our Food & Beverage team, you will assist and support the restaurant team in daily administrative operations.

  • Lead by example and provide ongoing mentorship/training/motivation to the Restaurant and Quick Service teams.
  • Work with the Restaurant Manager and Quick Service Manager on all staff needs.
  • Accurately and efficiently coordinate scheduling and attendance records.
  • Draft and issue employee disciplinary reports and letters in compliance with respective Collective Bargaining Agreements (CBA) and company policies.
  • Employee Certification and Policy Sign-Off tracking.
  • Assist with hiring and onboarding FOH and BOH employees (including in-event venue tours and uniform distribution).
  • Issue and process Gift Cards.
  • Assist with Guest Recovery.
  • Update Restaurant take out platforms.
  • Update Quick Service menus and web-based applications.
  • Assist with tracking and execution of staff incentive programs.
  • Perform other administrative duties as the need arises.
  • Adhere to MLSE service standards and policies.
  • Follow all MLSE Health & Safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications

  • Must be available to work Monday to Friday, daytime and occasional evening shifts.
  • Supervisory experience in a multifaceted and high-volume restaurant/Quick Service operation is an asset.
  • Solid understanding and practical knowledge of restaurant business principles and service etiquette.
  • Effective team management experience.
  • Proficient with Office 365.
  • An aptitude for identifying and assessing details.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Shown to perform well under pressure, balancing multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Work in compliance with the provisions of the Occupational Health & Safety Act.
  • Ongoing awareness and responsiveness to client satisfaction.
