As an important member of our in-store team, the Administrative Assistant is expected to exercise good judgment and provide exceptional customer service in a courteous and friendly manner. We are looking for someone who takes the initiative, is a stickler for details yet is also light hearted and friendly. The successful candidate must be able to work on their own and in a team environment.

We are looking for someone with experience in the following:

  • Managing Receivables
  • Managing Vendor Invoices and Inventory items
  • Payroll
  • Safety Administration
  • Answering the phone when necessary, in a courteous and friendly manner
  • Collections
  • Delivering excellent customer service
  • Scheduling customer appointments for tire and mechanical services
  • Assisting the secretary and counter staff with duties as required
  • Maintaining general office filing system
  • Ensuring that all products are billed accurately to the custome

Responsibilities:

We are looking for someone with experience in the following:

What does it take to get on track?

  • MUST HAVE: Administrative or accounting diploma for an accredited post secondary institution
  • MUST HAVE: Previous accounting/book keeping experience
  • MUST HAVE: 3+ years performing administrative support in a retail environment
  • MUST HAVE: Recent payroll experience
  • Automotive industry experience is preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) software required
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics would be considered a definite asset
  • Proven organizational and time management skills in order to effectively manage independent work and customer inquiries
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to develop and maintain effective relationships
