We are seeking a dedicated Administrative Assistant to join our team in Pittston, PA.
Job Summary:
The Administrative Assistant will provide comprehensive administrative support to the Director of People & Culture and the People & Culture team. This role requires exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. The successful candidate will be a proactive problem-solver with excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:

Administrative Support:

  • Assist the Director of People & Culture with daily administrative tasks.
  • Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate appointments.
  • Prepare and edit correspondence, communications, presentations, and other documents.
  • Handle incoming calls and emails, directing them to the appropriate parties.

Office Management:

  • Maintain office supplies and coordinate maintenance of office equipment.
  • Organize and maintain physical and electronic files.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements and prepare travel itineraries for the team.

HR Support:

  • Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes.
  • Maintain employee records and ensure data accuracy.
  • Support recruitment efforts by scheduling interviews and managing applicant tracking.

Event Coordination:

  • Assist in planning and coordinating company events and meetings.
  • Arrange logistics for training sessions, workshops, and other departmental activities.

Project Assistance:

  • Support special projects as assigned by the Director of People & Culture.
  • Conduct research and compile data for various projects and reports.

Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of experience working in a busy office environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong organizational, planning, and prioritization abilities.
  • Keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative.
  • Friendly, confident, and professional attitude.
  • A degree or qualification in Business Administration or Secretarial studies is advantageous.
  • Minimum of a high school diploma.
