Description
HRA has an immediate opening for an Administrative Assistant to work with our Accounting Manager. Willing to provide on the job training for the right applicant.
Hugo Reed and Associates, Inc. is a proven professional land surveying and civil engineering firm located in Lubbock, TX. We have been in continuous operation providing services to the South Plains of Texas since 1948.
Responsibilities
- Oversee front desk activities
- Greet clients and customers
- Answer phone calls
- Respond to emails
- Monitor order submittals
- Accept payments from clients and customers
- Customer invoicing
- Timeclock/timesheet review and reconciliation
- Setup, maintain and organize customer and vendor files
- Perform bookkeeping tasks, including preparation of deposits
- Maintain company breakroom, coffee, tea, etc.
- Assist the Accounting Manager
Qualifications
- Friendly, warm personality
- Positive attitude
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to multi-task and quick data entry/typing
- Basic computer skills in Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat
- Experience w/ scanning and indexing of pdf files
- Experience w/ Quickbooks or other accounting software preferred
- Experience w/ bookkeeping tasks preferred
