Westwide Electrical Services has a fantastic opportunity for a friendly, team-oriented Administrative Assistant to join their growing team!
ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
As a vital member of the Westwide Electrical Services team, you will report into the Projects Manager & Estimator and be responsible for providing support to the projects department by ensuring that all clerical and administrative duties are carried out efficiently and effectively.
Working in a small-team environment, we’re looking for someone who is flexible, adaptable, and willing to undertake varied administration tasks to support the team.
Your roles and responsibilities include:
- Maintaining tender register, typing of tenders, quotes, variation and RFI’s for current projects
- Procurement of stock/raising of purchase orders to suppliers, and receipting creditors’ invoices to Simpro
- Updating drawings and documents throughout project to subcontractors, including following up of outstanding approvals and information
- Organizing inductions for projects and updating employee records
- Obtaining and recording subcontractor insurances and details
- Understanding of OHS requirements for the company and job sites
- Provide safety documentation to workers on job sites
- Sharing content on LinkedIn on an ad hoc basis
- General admin and basic accounts

- A proactive attitude with the ability to work unsupervised.
- Confidence with Microsoft Office Suite
It would also be great if you had:
- Basic accounts experience
- SimPRO experience (training provided)
