REQUIREMENTS

  • Office Administration post secondary education preferred
  • Excellent and professional communication skills, both written and spoken
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher and Outlook
  • Experience providing executive level support
  • A communicative and enthusiastic personality
  • Flexibility and adaptability
  • Superior attention to detail
  • Demonstrated organizational skills and priority establishment
  • Must be self-motivated and accustomed to taking initiative
  • travel ability to travel is required up to 50% of the time
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Works and Government Services Enhanced Reliability Clearance

Responsibilities:

The Administrative Assistant position is responsible for the following key areas:

  • Provide administrative support to the Transition Manager
  • Prepare, update and edit letters, memos, reports, etc. from written drafts or other sources

Arrange, schedule and attend meetings regularly

  • Book and communicate necessary travel arrangements
  • Identify and prepare materials and information needed for meetings including, but not limited to:
  • Joint Management Office Meetings
  • Training Development Team Meetings
  • Integrated Test Team Meetings
  • Operational Integrated Working Group Meetings
  • Training Plan Writing Boards
  • Prepare and distribute minutes, and act as necessary back-up for the various meetings listed above and various weekly, monthly, quarterly meetings
  • Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned by the Transition Manager
  • Hold and maintain confidential files
