ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT II

We are currently seeking an Administrative Assistant to join our team and contribute to our mission of delivering excellence in every aspect of our business.

Position Overview: As a crucial part of our team, this multifaceted position combines administrative tasks with onboarding responsibilities.

  • Providing administrative support to Vice president and various departments within Subway of Alaska.
  • Provide accurate data input and coordination for onboarding personnel

JOB-SPECIFIC SKILLS:

  • Outstanding customer service: Provide exceptional service to both employees and management.
  • Consistently follow policies, guidelines, and best practices and company policies.
  • Demonstrate high energy and a can-do attitude.
  • Exercise confidentiality, effective judgment, and creativity to changing needs and situations:
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Exercise a high level of discretion, professionalism and adapt to evolving situations.
  • Precise data entry: Ensure accurate and detailed data entry.
  • Strong Verbal Skills in communicating with managers and new hires to resolve employee problems.

Job Type: Full-time

  • Salary: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
  • Expected hours: 40 per week

EXPERIENCE:

  • Excel or data keeping: 1 year (Required)
  • Customer service: 2 years (Required)
  • Onboarding: 1 year (Preferred)

Responsibilities:

ADMINISTATIVE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide thorough administrative support to and other divisions within the organization.
  • Manage and maintain office supplies, equipment, and inventory.
  • Process paperwork, documentation, and data entry tasks accurately and efficiently.
  • Assist in organizing company events, and meetings arrangements as needed

ONBOARDING RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Facilitate the onboarding process for new employees, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed.
  • Enter assorted HR related paperwork onto spreadsheets and database. This is a function of Onboarding the HR paperwork refers to I-9, W4 for payroll and other required documents for Subway of Alaska, and the Municipality of Anchorage
  • Assist new hires with any onboarding related questions and help them to navigate company policies.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers and team leaders to ensure a smooth transition for new team members.
  • Review applications applied online and forward on to Managers.
  • Answer employee’s questions related to paychecks, pay-cards, Subway training log ins.
  • All other duties as assigned.
