EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred or equivalent work experience in an Admin or customer service role
- 2 years of experience as an Administrative Assistant

Responsibilities:
SUMMARY OF PRIMARY PURPOSE
The Administrative Assistant will work with a specific area of the church in communication, organization, coordination of activities (planning & implementation) travel and other administrative duties. The daily, weekly, and monthly tasks are critical to the growth, development, support, care and maintenance of the team.

Essential Roles & Responsibilities, included but not limited to:
- Provide direct support to the office to achieve high efficiency and effectiveness. May manage initiatives, projects, events, calendar for team and note taking in various meeting
- Exercise discretion in managing telephone calls and visitors; arranging and coordinating appointments, meetings, and functions; and preparing and providing needs to assist with meetings
- Manage internal/external contacts and communications, and follow-up as needed.
- Basic office duties including: file maintenance and retention, office supplies ordering, data entry, on-boarding logistics of new staff/volunteers, IT hardware and access etc.
- Create a system to organize, maintain and ensure follow up with action items and/or people to stay on target (including communications)
- Keep information with the highest degree of confidentiality, professionalism and integrity.
- Support, recruit and manage volunteers, as needed by the ministry
- Flexibility to respond to urgent project needs and shifting priorities
- Participate in staff meetings events and initiatives May manage and help support department social media accounts
- May need to be available outside of traditional work schedule
- May have special project requests or needs
- May plan and organize travel and logistics for any need, if warranted
- May process ministry income and/or expenses according to HBC accounting procedures

- Personal and growing relationship with Jesus and a humility to testify to it
- Ability to explain “What Harvest Bible Chapel Believes”
- Ability to pray with other employee’s, guest and attenders of the church
- Be an active, engaged and accountable member of a community group
