ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT - PLANT VOGTLE 3&4 (OPERATIONS)

Summary of Position Duties
This position will provide clerical support to the Operations Department with a focus on Operations Shift Crew support. Job duties include daily personnel schedule maintenance, timekeeping, travel planning, coordinating various events/meetings, filing, typing, maintaining procedures, preparing expense reports for Managers, coordinating special projects, scanning and submitting quality records, processing requests for Prescription Safety Eyewear, recording and publishing meeting minutes, and other administrative duties. This position will also provide back-up support to the Senior Administrative Assistant and other Administrative Assistants within the department and across the site. Administrative staff will support outage needs as required.

Job Experience & Education

  • High School diploma or GED is required, higher level education preferred.
  • Minimum two (2) years administrative work experience required.
  • Five (5) years secretarial/administrative work experience preferred.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, & Power Point)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 suite preferred
  • Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat preferred
  • Experience with volume printing and scanning systems and software preferred
  • Understanding of Quality Assurance Records and engineering documents is desirable
  • Working knowledge of Documentum D2 is preferred
  • Working knowledge of MAXIMO is preferred
  • Working knowledge of STARS is preferred
  • Must be a proficient typist
  • Must possess effective written and oral communication skills
  • Experience handling multiple projects, high volume workload, working in a fast paced and team environment is preferred
  • Ability to learn industry specific software in assigned areas
