Description:

QUALIFICATIONS

  • A minimum of one (1) year experience in a reception/front desk/ administrative role.
  • Formal administration and/or accounting education or training would be an asset.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; superior telephone etiquette.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask,
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Proficient with MS Office 365 applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams). Working knowledge of RQ Metrix is an asset.
  • Demonstrated flexibility and effectiveness with changing environments, tasks, responsibilities and people.

Responsibilities:

As an administrative member of our Radio & Communication Services team, you will be responsible for a variety tasks that support our sales and service team members. The successful candidate is someone who is highly self-motivated, responsible, a good communicator, team player, adaptable, and would like to expand their skills by continuously learning new things to keep up with changes in the business. You will serve as the first point of contact to customers via phone and in-person; responding to inquiries in a courteous, professional and timely manner. You will create and process recurring billing, and invoicing; processing and applying payments to customer accounts, and submitting paperwork to the head office location. You will maintain and submit various reports such as expense reports. You will also assist with inventory management and ordering, petty cash, filing, preparing outgoing mail and distributing incoming mail, and other administrative tasks as required.
