Description:

We are currently seeking an Administrative Assistant to join our established client located in Surrey, BC. Our client has been in business for over 20 years and has built a strong reputation for their Accounting services in the Fraser Valley. This role is crucial in providing excellent customer service to our clients, managing administrative tasks, and ensuring smooth operations in our office environment.

REQUIREMENTS:

Previous experience in the accounting industry is preferred
Excellent interpersonal skills and comfortable interacting with clients
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work well in a team environment and contribute to a positive workplace culture
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Previous experience using Profile Tax Software is a plus

Responsibilities:

Greet clients and visitors warmly and ensure they are comfortable
Conduct intake interviews with clients, assist them with tax forms, and discuss their tax refund status
Provide basic explanations of tax-related matters to clients, with training provided
Manage incoming emails and correspondence promptly and efficiently
Handle a high volume of phone calls from clients, addressing inquiries and scheduling appointments
Assist in maintaining office organization and cleanliness, including handling recycling tasks
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow and provide support as needed
