Description:
JOB OVERVIEW:
The Administrative Assistant in the Quality Improvement department facilitates, organizes, and assists the division of Clinical Transformation/Integration, that includes: Quality, Medical Staff, Care Management/transition,physician liaison, and Infection Prevention to include but not limited to: scheduling meetings, minute taking, correspondence, liaison with external regulators (QIO, CMS/DOH/JC), vendors, corporate legal, quality, and population health (case management).

- High School Diploma required
Preferred:
Bachelor s degree in healthcare or business preferredHealthcare administration experience preferred

- 8:00am-4:30pm

Responsibilities:
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Assists the division leadership to coordinate activities, processes required to division functions: quality, case management, medical staff, legal, physician liaison activities, and infection control
- Coordinates the preparation of documents for regulatory surveys (JC, CMS, and DOH) and serves as the contact point person in the Survey Command Center
- Coordinates preparation for monthly Physician Peer Review with Clinical Quality Coordinator
- Responsible for ordering of office supplies and initiate service and/or repair of office equipment and follow up with the progress of equipment servicing
- Coordinates SSE meeting
- Coordinates PI Committee Meeting
- Coordinates CQRC and Patient Safety Committee Meeting
- Coordinates other meetings/work-teams as assigned
- Writes minutes as assigned
- Completes correspondence as assigned
