Description:
Singh Roadways is seeking someone to join our team as a full time Administrative Assistant in Auckland. We need someone who will be a vibrant person with great people skills, a positive approach to their work and the ability to cope with pressure and remain calm and professional throughout the day.
Your Working hours will be minimum of 30 hours to maximum 40 hours Monday to Friday from 7AM to 4 PM; may require to work late evenings as well till 7 PM and Saturday from 7AM to 3PM (which may include Public holidays). Salary can be negotiated as per your experience level between $28 to $32 per hour.
Key requirements
- Proven 3 years of experience in relevant role or relevant qualification.
- Good command of the English language
- Highly organised and flexible with the ability to prioritise and multi-task.
- Able to work with limited supervision and at times may be left on their own.
- Clean character background
- Zero Tolerance of alcohol and drugs in the workplace, Random Drug tests may require time to time

Responsibilities:
- Ensure calls are answered in a friendly, professional, and timely manner at all times.
- Coordination of transport processes including invoicing, preparation, compilation, and distribution of documentation
- responding to inquiries about problems and providing advice, information, and assistance; recording information about inquiries and complaints; referring complex inquiries to team leaders or expert advisers
- Responsible for business administration, managing paperwork and other records associated with office management.
- Typing of quotes, letters, documentation
- Handling email, phone enquiries
- Filing, updating, and maintaining files and information, Managing documentation.
- Assistance with process improvement
- Responsible for meeting health and safety compliance.
