Responsibilities:
THE ROLE
The Faculty of Arts, Law and Social Sciences is looking to recruit an Administrative Assistant (AA) in the Faculty Office. The post is offered as a fixed term contract until 31 December 2024.
You will be a key member of the Faculty Executive Support Team and work closely with colleagues in the team to ensure a consistent and high-level of service. This is an exciting opportunity to join a large and dynamic Faculty, working collaboratively with colleagues across the Faculty, central divisions and Schools to deliver excellent service provision for all staff.
WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?
The Administrative Assistant will work closely with the Executive Administration Manager (EAM) to ensure key Faculty activities are managed and delivered on time, while providing professional, efficient and effective support to the Faculty Office and staff.
The role holder will be expected to undertake a range of tasks, field enquiries where applicable and maintain discretion and confidentiality as required. Independence and initiative will be required to reach to changing priorities and circumstances.
