How you make a difference:
Early Access and Stabilization Services (EASS) is our partnership with the California Department of State Hospitals (DSH) that provides care to individuals deemed incompetent to stand trial. Patients are provided with early stabilization through treatment with individualized medication therapy and weekly psychiatric and restoration appointments. The Administrative Assistant EASS is an integral part of the team responsible for data, scheduling, reporting, and communication with key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strict adherence to Department of State Hospital (DSH) and company Policies & Procedures (P&Ps)
- Cooperation with all stakeholders - Sheriff’s offices, EASS staff and DSH.
- Manage large amounts of data, including patient census information and deliver timely quantitative information to stakeholders.
- Communicate with EASS clinical staff about patient referral packets, screenings, admission plans, and court reports.
- Assist clinical team in obtaining clinical paperwork including admissions, transfers, and discharges.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Education
- High School Diploma, GED, Associates Degree or bachelor’s degree
Experience
- Expertise in Microsoft Office, especially Excel Office management experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Self-starter with strong problem-solving ability
