Description:
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the development and execution of spending plans.
- Assist with analysis of spending patterns and status of funds.
- Provide technical assistance and support for the set-up, execution, monitoring, reporting, and analysis of appropriated funds.
- Support the continuous review and reporting of status of funds. Assist the Senior Budget Analyst in providing budget expertise and advising on future budget needs to the command fiscal department.
- Examine project documents for completeness, accuracy, and conformance with procedures and regulations under direction of a Senior Budget Analyst.
- Maintain budgets for individual projects and Principal Investigators.
- Assist with the coordination of the transfer of funds.
- Assist with departmental and administrative tasks such as tracking departmental documents, scheduling meetings and managing calendars, coordinating event and VIP visits; conducting inventory, and responding to various taskers from Principal Investigators, Department heads, and the Directorate Head.
- Coordinate onboarding and offboarding steps for employees at the command.
- Monitor and report on team training completion and on-site schedules.
- Submit purchase and travel packets for Command approval.
- Make on-contract purchases, submit purchase invoices, and reconcile purchases.
- Respond to ad hoc requests from the Program Manager, Project Manager, and Senior Budget Analyst
