Description:
Drake International is looking for an Administrative Clerk to join a high producing team within a fast pace world-leading Transportation Company located in Ottawa East!
This position has an immediate start and offers a great opportunity to grow within the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Interface with both internal and external customers
- Contact customers to discuss or resolve On-hand issues
- Works with other departments to determine corrective measures within shipping departments
- Communicate with other service centers and/or shippers for missing paperwork or freight
- Requests documentation and information needed from carriers to resolve claims, or letters of denial
- Handle the disposition of the freight
- Receive and enter unloading exceptions
- Generate reports
- Daily report monitoring
- Participates in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals
