Description:

Robert Half is looking to hire an Administrative Coordinator for a Construction Company. The Administrative Coordinator will be based on-site and will be part of our construction team. The Administrative Coordinator needs to be able to work in a fast-paced environment with a strong ability to multitask and a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate project activities and ensure all project phases are documented properly
  • Use Microsoft Office Suite and construction software for administrative tasks
  • Liaise with builders and architects on project details and updates
  • Manage and respond to a high volume of emails, ensuring follow-up tasks are completed
  • Support managers by handling subcontracts and subtotals
  • Provide various administrative support as needed
  • Utilize skills in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office Suites, Microsoft Outlook, and Microsoft Word for daily tasks
  • Deliver excellent customer service and data entry tasks
  • Handle construction documents and perform basic office skills.
  • The candidate should have at least one year of experience in an administrative role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites including Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Outlook is mandatory.
  • The candidate must possess excellent customer service skills.
  • Data entry skills are essential for this role.
  • Knowledge of construction documents will be considered a plus.
  • Basic office skills such as filing, scheduling, and answering phones are required.
  • The candidate must be able to maintain a high level of organization and attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are a must.
  • The ability to multitask and prioritize work effectively is necessary.
  • The candidate should be able to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure are important.
  • The candidate should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in handling confidential information and understanding the importance of data privacy is required.
  • The candidate should be able to adapt to new software and technologies quickly.
