Description:

We are currently seeking a professional Administrative Manager to join our clients team in Balwyn. This role is pivotal in maintaining the operational excellence of the centre, supporting the staff, and ensuring a warm, welcoming environment for the families.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide professional front-of-house management, including meeting, greeting, and assisting visitors and families.
  • Conduct tours of the facility for prospective families, offering comprehensive insights into our services and facilities.
  • Manage all aspects of administrative tasks, including phone and email communications, filing, and paperwork with a keen eye for detail.
  • Ensure efficient processing of invoices, fees, and payments, maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records.
  • Support the Centre Manager with administrative duties, working closely to facilitate smooth daily operations.
  • Uphold a solid understanding of computer software (Microsoft Office Suite: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.) to produce documents, reports, and presentations as required.
  • Foster a professional and welcoming environment, emphasizing strong professional etiquette in all communications.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in an administrative role with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of maintaining professionalism in phone and email communications.
  • Working With Children Check (WWCC).
  • Police check.
  • Completion of Child Protection Training.
  • Certification in ‘Do Food Safely’ or willingness to obtain.
  • No childcare qualifications are necessary, but a passion for creating a supportive and welcoming atmosphere is a must.
